With both parents as music teachers in Illinois, Scott grew up with a family fully immersed in music and has been learning from a young age.  Primarily a guitar player and holding a Bachelor of Music Education with a Vocal Emphasis degree from Murray State University, Scott has a well rounded knowledge of the music world and a highly trained ear.  He fully understands how important the quality of an instrument lends to the potential of the musician. 

He currently serves as the Director of Music at Three Crosses Church in Benton, KY where he works with a wide range of musicians, including a long line of talented pianists. 

It is out of his love for acoustic instruments that he became drawn to the complexity of the piano.  Both it's expressive versatility and influence on the music world has been unmatched by any other instrument.  The craftsmanship and beauty of the instrument's woodwork is always inspiring.

Thanks to the generosity of area piano technicians, Scott has been honing his skills to tune, service and repair pianos since 2020.  He looks forward to helping in any way he possibly can.
